Frequently asked questions

Is the survey really anonymous?
Yes. Your invitation identifies a company, not a person, and your answers are stored with no link back to it. The separate key that connects the two is deleted 30 days after the survey closes.
Could my firm work out that I rated them?
No. Rated firms see aggregate scores only, and only once at least five distinct companies have rated them. Comments are published only with your permission and only after review.
Who can take part?
Current and recent CEOs, CFOs, general counsel and board members of US-listed companies with a market capitalisation under $250 million.
How do I get an invitation?
Most invitations are sent directly. If you do not have a link, use the Request an invite form. We check every request against public filings before sending a link.
How are firms chosen for the survey?
Firms appear because public SEC filings show they worked with the invited company. You can untick any firm you did not work with personally, and add one we missed.
How long does it take?
About three minutes, and you can rate up to four firms.
When is a firm's Issuer's Choice Ranking published?
Each firm's Issuer's Choice Ranking, from 0 to 100, is published only when at least five distinct companies have rated the firm. Below that we show Limited data and no numbers.
Is IssuerVoice run for profit?
No. IssuerVoice is not done to make a profit.
Can firms pay to change their rating?
No. Firms cannot pay to be rated, to improve a rating, to suppress one, or to be removed.
How do I request deletion of my personal data?
Email hello@issuervoice.com. We can delete an invitation record or an invite request on request. Once the key store is destroyed, submitted answers can no longer be identified as yours, so they cannot be individually withdrawn.
